In November 2021, Emirates Leisure Retail and MMI - Maritime and Mercantile International were awarded a master concession contract for commercial operations in the new Terminal 3 at Zanzibar Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. Together we joined forces with a vision to create a world-class, next-generation customer experience. Roll on just over a year and we were proud to have delivered on that promise and unveil our integrated F&B, duty-free experience ZOMA. We challenged all conventions of the airport experience to create a destination in its own right, to allow passengers to continue their magical experience of Zanzibar. We created six ZOMA Zones, each inspired by the beautiful island.
