Sometimes, all it takes is one experience to open a world of possibilities.

To mark African Child Day, ELR Zanzibar welcomed 50 students from Fukuchani Primary School to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for a memorable day of learning, exploration and inspiration.

For many of the students, the visit was their first experience at an airport. Throughout the day, they were given a behind-the-scenes look at airport operations, explored the terminal facilities, and met aviation professionals who shared insights into the diverse careers that keep the industry moving.

The initiative was designed to do more than introduce students to the world of aviation. It aimed to broaden horizons, spark curiosity and encourage young people to envision the many opportunities available to them in the future.

By connecting students with professionals and exposing them to a dynamic working environment, the experience highlighted the importance of education, ambition and perseverance in achieving career aspirations.

ELR Zanzibar extends its sincere appreciation to dnata, the airport authorities and officials at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, and all team members whose partnership, support and enthusiasm helped make the initiative a success. Their collective efforts created an engaging and inspiring experience that left a lasting impression on the students.

At ELR, we are committed to creating meaningful opportunities that support the communities we serve and empower the next generation. We are proud to have played a role in delivering an experience that encouraged young minds to dream bigger, aim higher and explore the possibilities that lie ahead.

Together, we are helping to inspire the future, one experience at a time.
